How Crafty!

I have been intending to sew these cuties since G was 2 weeks old.He has been seriously spitting up again. Oh well. Maybe he will grow out of it around 1 yr. I hope it is sooner. It won't be so acceptable once we start eating table food. Gross. Anyways these are normal cloth diapers we have been using for burp cloths. I sewed this cute flannel pannel on it to jazz it up. Only did 3 so far. It took over an hour last night while I was watching Onething. www.Ihop.org Check it out for the next few days. You have to set up an account but it is free. A heart totally surrendered to God. That is what I am seeking!

Merry Christmas

We had a really nice Christmas. I made some wonderful breakfast with the help of my little elves (Marcus and T-bone). We had some technical difficulties. The video camera stopped recording and we didn't know it. I have a new 4 gig card for my camera and it wasn't formatted properly. So I can't really show you many pics or video but we had a great time!!
After we opened all the presents we went to some friends of t-bone. It was yum food complete with green bean casserole and homemade rolls. (Jenn P always makes yum rolls).
Then we came home and crashed.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! We love you and miss you!

Out at Sea

We went on our first boat ride. Popa picked us up in the pontoon boat and we slowly inched our way out to the Manatee river. 15 minutes later we were on board the Caroline C. We have been waiting, very patiently for this first.

Check out our cool life jackets.

The Beach

We went to the Beach today.

Not the, "We are getting in our bathing suits to swim," beach day.
A, "Oh My it is freezing out here," day.

The girls still loved it. They both walked in the water in their shoes--Naomi had on her pink boots of course.

Re-gifting

My sweet Gabriel is 4 months old today.

One of his favorite things to date is FANS. He is not particular or biased. Any old fan will do. If a fan is going he is looking-staring-gazing- intent. Claire,(5 1/2 months) on the other had could care less. So when Jen bought Claire a mobile she rolled over on her tummy and cried. Welcome to re-gifting. I never even thought about a mobile. It is Gabriel's very own fan. It has leaves and jungle animals and rotates--A FAN! He loves it.

I am going to have to limit his exposure. I usually let him stay in his bed to entertain himself for 15 minutes in the morning. Yesterday I walked away 30 minutes later he was still smiling at HIS fan. I came back another 15 minutes later and he was in dream land, no doubt dreaming about his fan. Oh how I love Fans!

Happy 4 months Gabriel!

4 years old!!!

The birthday girl got to go with Aunt GiGi to a kids play - Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse. One of our favorite books, right after Fancy Nancy.

Today we are headed to Chuck E Cheese with the grandparents and cousins.

Next week a Fancy Nancy slumber party. So far that's 3 parties...but the girl is turning four, so I guess we need one more.

Happy Birthday Naomi!

Scratching that PIG

Marcus took the girls to visit Kansas. We said goodbye to our dog Daisy and met Pinky. Pinky pig would follow them around and lay down wherever they were. Rachel and Naomi would get their sticks and go to town scratching.
The girls thought Pinky was great!
