What a difference a year can make!

Today is the FIRST day of school.

This is a first on so many levels! We have lived in Janesville for one year! This is a big deal for my family. Rachel tells everyone she meets, including strangers, she is starting 7th grade at the same school she attended for 6th.  Why is this such a big deal? What does that mean?  It means she isn't the new girl!!!!!!  During registration everyone said , "hi Rachel."  Not ,"and what is your name?  Oh where did you move from?"  We didn't have to ask for directions to her teacher's room.  She knows all the kids in her class.  She knows most of her teachers.  She knows where her friends sit at lunch. She has friends. We all have friends.  So this is a momentus occasion in the Bonham household.  We are very excited to not be the new kids.  We are very excited to not be unloading boxes and learning where the grocery store is.  We are excited not to have to introduce ourselves to everyone we meet. So Happy First Day!!!  We are loving it!!

Caleb is in half day pre-K.  And he got a scary, short bang, haircut!

Gabriel started 1st grade!

My Naomi started 4th!

Rachel started 7th!
