Picking Strawberries
We visisted HUNSADER FARMS on Saturday. 
We picked our own strawberries. Very sweet and yummy.
A local missions organization, Hope seeds, was having its 10 yr anniversary. They had a seed walk. Our girls recieved a passport. Then we walked around the area and spoke to many volunteers. Each area represented a region/countries that Hope seed had sent seeds to. We also tasted some authentic food and saw an outside kitchen. At the end of the walk we recived free ice cream and a few goodies to remind us what we learned.
They also decorated a flower pot to put their bean seeds in. The tennis ball container (a pringles can also works)with a hole cut out. It is a bank to save money--"seed money". The girls really enjoyed being outside and picking strawberries and eating ice cream.

Marcus and I were renewed in our vision. Many, many, many people around the world will go to bed hungry tonight. I can't even imagine. No grocery stores, fast food, snack machines, food stamps, salvation army. Just hungry. And hopeless. Imagine having to send your children to bed hungry. Imagine going to bed and knowing there isn't anything for breakfast either. It is a life we have no idea about. How many, myself included, just don't feel like eating leftovers AGAIN. So we throw them in the trash. I know --clean your plate there are starving children in.........
So we took our girls and walked around and talked. Hope seeds sends seeds to missionaries. These missionaries distribute seeds to locals. A "family pack " (10 different packs of seeds) will feed a family of 4 for LIFE.

Breakfast
We had a fun and creative breakfast.
The girls picked a cookie cutter and cut out the center of their bread. I cracked the egg into a cup. They then poured their egg into their bread. TADA!!!!
